Sarah Berry is an associate attorney and mediator. She joined the firm in 2008 after graduating from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas in 2007.

Ms. Berry represents clients in civil and commercial litigation and counsels clients in a variety of areas including construction matters, contract preparation and negotiation, contract disputes, real estate matters, residential and commercial landlord/tenant issues, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy matters. Ms. Berry also assist clients in family law matters, estate planning and probate administration.

In construction matters, Ms. Berry has represented contractors, suppliers and design professionals in mechanic’s lien and bond claims, litigation, mediation and arbitration. She also counsels clients with contract concerns from initial negotiation and interpretation through contract administration, breaches and disputes.

Ms. Berry’s experience in representation of creditors is extensive from the pre-trial phase to post-judgment collections. Ms. Berry’s experience in this area includes general litigation, foreclosures, repossessions, garnishments, turnovers, domestication of foreign judgments, and representation of creditors in bankruptcy. She has represented lenders, loan servicers, and large and small businesses of various types including manufacturers and suppliers.

In real estate and landlord/tenant matters, Ms. Berry has represented residential and commercial landlords and tenants, property owners, and purchasers. She has represented these clients in evictions, boundary disputes, foreclosure proceedings, real estate transactions, and insurance claims.

Ms. Berry represents individuals in family law matters including divorces, child custody proceedings, and child support actions. She also assists individuals with estate planning needs such as preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and medical directives and represents clients in probate proceedings.

Ms. Berry is a mediator authorized to mediate both general civil matters and family law cases.
